I know when I was working at card's stadium, some guy was pulling out some nice fish a couple weeks ago. Kinda tempting.

15+ years ago, my parents lived near the canal at 67th ave and T-bird. My brother and I used to fish the canals every day after school. We just HAMMERED the big carp in there. I think the GFD called them White Amur's?? We never took a camera with us, but wish we did. I vividly remember my brother holding up carp as high as he could and the tails of the fish were still on the ground. Looking back on it, I bet we consistently caught 20-30 pound fish every day.

Then, like idiots, we told everyone we knew about how cool the fishing was. I remember on the weekends, there would be 20+ guys out in our spot fishing. Kind of ruined it for us and we stopped going.

I bet it's still good today though.

I used to mountain bike that same area of the canal and that is where I would see the most fish... Well, the cat's out of the bag now .... Its just I don't think we'll be eating any of that carp...

The CAP boys are kind of sensitive about the trepassing thing. Does that go for the rest of the canal system.

My Dad use to ski down that canals being pulled by a truck. Any of you crazies do that? That was a long, long time ago.

You can fish pretty much all the canals except the CAP
